Af9015 Driver For Mac
I'm on a up to date Intrepid here. I have a problem with a dvb-usb stick (MSI MSI Digivox mini II (V3.0) Afatech DVB-T 2). After compiling and installing the drivers and putting the firmware at the richt place, there is a problem when connecting.
I found out that I have to try several times (about 20 - no fun), until the stick is initialized. It looks like the problem would be the state of the stick (cold/warm). Whatever this means. As I found several bug reports, from this and other sticks, with similar behavior, I thought it would be possible, that this issue is not connected to a certain model, but more general. Think some developer should take a look at this and decide. I couldn't fix it yet. The weird thing is, that it works sometimes and it worked perfectly with Hardy.

I'll post the dmesg output again. Maybe somebody recognizes the actual problem.
I have Fuj:tech DTV PRO DVBT-UT2000 which uses same Afatech AF9015 drivers from (and firmware from ). It worked previously with Ubuntu 8.04, but I have same problem as you with Ubuntu 8.10.
