A group of former coworkers planned a GTG for Wednesday night's 2 for 1 buffet promotion, arrived and found NO waiting line whatsoever, much to everyone's pleasant surprise-entry was immediate, seating for a large group arranged timely and seating occurred before we all had time to greet each other, some not seen in many years. Server took drink orders, volunteered additional napkins, answered a number of questions by first time guests, and everyone espeically enjoyed the handmade to order fish taco station. All entrees and carved meats well prepared, hot and tasty, soups and salads fresh and enjoyable, desserts with wide array of offerings.

Everyone agreed the ambiance, albeit buffet, service, and wide array of food choices was excellent. The one thing that is most advantageous here is that you don't have to travel to Hawaii to experience a luau in the desert!

At the Silverton Hotel, Las Vegas - the Polynesian buffet is a serendipity- at Season's Buffet- the theme is held on Saturday nights. Most of the locals/denizens, among them- us frequent this restaurant for a taste of Hawaii. The centerpiece carving includes a whole roasted pig called the Lechon, with spicy liver sauce to boot. We also love their Lomi Lomi, salt and pepper pork chop, poi dip, and the infamous dessert hopia- a coconut based sweet gelo.

The luau doesn't end here as there are a number of dishes, sushi and chinese and Italian dishes served in a live action buffet setting, Over-all the experience is a total feast of the senses with great satisfaction for the palate and value for your money! Seasons Buffet is located in the Silverton Casino, off I-15 at Blue Diamond Road and across the road from the Truck Stop. We ate at the Sunday Brunch on Sunday, 11/16/14 at 11:54 AM. Price for the Sunday Brunch with Club Card is $17.99 each plus tax - $38.89 Total for two.

We have eaten here before for Dinner and this time the food was not as hot as our previous visits. My breakfast Potatoes were cold, Eggs Benedict were under cooked, Steamed Clams were lukewarm, Peas were cold, Roast Beef was a little tough, Pot Stickers were cold inside and scrambled eggs were overcooked. They have three choices for Champagne - Mimosa, Mango (flavor added with bits of fruit) and Plain. You have to fend for yourself and there is a Tip Bucket is on the bar counter. Most of the food, especially on the American and Asian, areas were up to an acceptable temperature. They will make omelets and eggs cooked to order in the Italian section of the buffet.

There are a variety of deserts, including Gelato, to finish your meal. I spoke with the Manager at the end of the meal about the food temperature and she had the cooks check on the food temperature. I believe they check the food with a Temperature Gun and do not insert an actual gauge into the food. The manager stated that only the Pot Stickers were not at the correct temperature and that they removed them. We were surprised that only 1 item was not at the correct temperature of 120 degrees, their setting for food. So like they say - Pay your money and take your chances. This was an OK Brunch but, not anything to write home about.

When they have their Promo's - 2 for 1 Buffet Club Member Specials - expect to wait in a very long line. Our Waitress - Petia - was Excellent! She kept our table nice by promptly removing our finished plates and glasses.

Also, seeing if we needed anything else during our brunch. Rates A Return: Yes, but not right away. We will return on a 2 for 1 special sometime in the future.
