This mouse is it! The color is a little more pinky/purple in real life than the lavender/purple it looks like on the screen, but that's ok.it works beautifully with the laptop skin & mouse pad I also got. Was going to get just a receiver, but that was only $3 less.It's kind of small, but I use it mostly for travel. The mouse performs very well, I just did not realize that it's a 3/4 scale model of the M310 mouse I was replacing. The accuracy on this mouse isn't as good as the Microsoft Mouse I've been using, but that's the trade-off I'm making to free up a USB port via using the unifying receiver. . 2678 Answers SOURCE: This is a difficult one to answer so lets go through it. You have a M305 thatrefuses to work and your OS says is returning an error. You've quite rightly checked the Logitech site and found out that it appears to be a common fault as many people are reporting the same issue.

Logitech have not resolved the issue. All the above are valid reason for retun to the vendor for replacement/refund. However you WANT to replace a M305 (a model with know issues) with ANOTHER M305 which will have the same issues as Logitech have not resolved the problem.
